The “Salon Experience” Dog Grooming Apprenticeship
Have you ever dreamed about becoming a Dog Groomer and owning your very own Dog Grooming Salon? Whether you want to work from a salon in your home or as mobile groomer, you could have the flexibility of making your own schedule while earning a great income in one of the fastest growing industries! This hands on training will help jump start your Dog Grooming career!
What’s Included….
The“Salon Experience”Apprenticeship for dog grooming will be complete hands on training with Mckenzie at her Grooming Salon in BEAUTIFUL Ivins, Utah! You will learn the skills and techniques of how to safely and confidently groom a dog from start to finish on various different dogs of your choice. From day one of class you will be working on dogs that could be YOUR future clients.
Class option #1: (Local Southern Utah Students). $4,500.00 ($500 deposit)
There will be six 4 hour days of guided hands on grooming instruction that will be stretched out over 3 consecutive weeks. Class schedule will be determined by the new student and McKenzie.
Class option #2 (Out of town Students). $5,500.00 ($1000 deposit)
There will be five consecutive 5 hour days of guided hands on grooming instruction that will be in a one week period time. Student will stay in the upstairs one bedroom apartment that is pet friendly. The Apprenticeship price will include room and board for those 5 days.
Class option #3 (Come to YOUR Salon). Price-TBD by location and Service
Depending on what you request and need, I will come to your Dog Grooming Salon for consultations and trainings. Minimum of 3 days and maximum of 5 days. Travel to and from location, hotel, food and other travel related expenses with be included into the Apprenticeship/ Training/ Consultation price.
Your Apprenticeship comes with a hand picked kit of tools and products that you will be using throughout your dog grooming experience. Once you’ve completed the “Salon Experience” Grooming Apprenticeship program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and be ready to own your own business while you continue to practice the skills you have learned while earning a great income in the rewarding field of Dog Grooming!
Private Sessions (Pet Owners) $100/hour
-These private sessions are available to pet owners who would like to learn how to groom their own dog or cat. A minimum of two sessions at 2 hours/session is recommended. I will also consult you on the proper tools and product you will need for grooming your own pet.
